Piping Material Engineer (Contract)

This includes engineering, project management through the pre-construction planning, critical path development, construction / fabrication / site management, commissioning and hand over. Job Description

Responsibilities

· Reports to Lead and Asst. Lead Project Material Management Controller.

· Involve in project to ensure smooth flow of Project materials by coordinating with individual disciplines / trades in Production and Supporting Department.

· Daily update the material status for both Client FIM and DM purchased items in Material Status Report.

· To utilize the surplus materials prior raising any Purchase Request (PR).

· To evaluate MTO from Engineering and Production to ensure all information is aligned and captured.

· Familiar with project material specifications (latest revision) / requirements such as approved vendor list (AVL), country of restrictions if any etc.

· If any specific requirements based on client specification & highlighted on the purchase requisitions (PR). In order to avoid any discrepancies.

· Prepare material status report (MSR) for MMC lead review. And update periodically.

· Raise Technical Query (TO) for material substitution and non-approved vendor acceptance.

· Raise Job Confirmation Sheet for redundant materials found in MTO revision.

· Prepare material offcut list based on MTO quantity and cross check with site offcut list from supervisor.

Requirements

· Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

· 3 years working experience in Marine industry or FPSO topside module

· Good material knowledge in Piping material and material grade

· PC literate and good in Vlookup is a must.

Job Related Information

• Permanent| 5.5 days’ work week | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm
• Head-Office’s Location: 45 Gul Rd, Singapore 629350.

• Monthly Basic Salary: Based on expertise, academic qualification and skills
• OT pay entitlement: OT Flat rate S$8/- per hour
